Starting line of Warhorse 5k

Owen High School student Jordan Robertson turned her passion for running into a project to help the community. The sophomore created and planned the Warhorse Gallop 5k and Pony Trot Fun Run, which brought together more than 100 people at the school this morning.

Jordan Robertson“I’m the sophomore class president, and I wanted a fundraiser that would be fun and help us do community outreach,” she shared. “I run both cross country and track, and wanted to combine something I love with something that could help bring our community together and bring in money to help with future projects.”
