Hudson, Rebekah

Each August is always full of anticipation for me as I await to meet the children I will have the privilege of working with for the next 10 months!  Even after 34 years of teaching, the excitement of the new school year beginning has not diminished!  I count it an honor to be entrusted with parents' most precious commodity-- their children.

Although not a native of Asheville, I claim it as home.  I was born in coastal North Carolina and moved to Asheville at age 14.  I have had the opportunity to live in other cities and states including Chicago, Illinois and Forth Worth and Dallas, Texas.  I consider myself a good mix of North Carolinian and Texan!

My husband and I are blessed to have 4 wonderful children-- one in graduate school, two in college, and one in high school. I enjoy a number of activities but any activity involving my family is my most favorite thing to do!

I look forward to a year full of meaningful and memorable learning and experiences-- not only for the students but also for their teacher!  Thank you parents, in advance, for all you will contribute in time, energy, and support as we work together to help your individual children. My goal is to help each student reach the potential he/she is capable of in the months of this school year.
