ACES Safety Patrol

Members of Safety Patrol serve the Avery's Creek School Community by providing assistance and support to students, parents and staff. They are excellent examples of strong student character and work hard to exemplify the Seven Habits, as role models for the rest of the student body.

Job Roles

Car Duty: Directing car rider traffic and helping students out of automobiles. Please have students dress appropriately for being outside in cold temperatures.

Hall Monitoring: Assisting students to class and providing support to staff members, while ensuring that students are following our RAMS Expectations in the hallways prior to class.

Lobby Monitoring: Ensuring that students are entering safely and directing towards the office or classrooms.

Breezeway Duty: Greeting students, parents and staff who are entering the school.  Please have students dress appropriately for being outside in cold temperatures.

Job Requirements

Those wishing to serve on the Safety Patrol must submit an application.

Safety Patrol members are not allowed discipline referrals to the office. If this occurs, the student will be suspended from Safety Patrol.

Students must maintain at least a C average to remain on Safety Patrol. If a student's average drops below a C during the nine-week period, the student's status on Safety Patrol will be re-evaluated.
